Self Levelling Screeds

Self levelling screeds are trowel applied screeds that level as they set to create a seamless, smooth finish. The result is a screed flooring that is both hard wearing and easy to clean. Typically, it has a thickness of between 1mm and 5mm.

Resurfacing an existing uneven floor or concrete working areas to produce a new smooth surface can be achieved by using conventional sand & cement screeding. However, this method has certain limitations, particularly where thin sections and fine tolerances are essential. Refurbishment of large expanses can also be especially labour intensive. On the other hand, installing self-levelling (smoothing) and pumpable screeds can prove a fast and very cost effective solution.
